Position 1: Litigation Attorney
Role Overview
The litigation attorney will represent the firm's CID clients in various disputes, from enforcement actions and covenant violations to complex construction cases. This role requires an attorney with keen advocacy skills and the ability to navigate the intricacies of court and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Must have at least 4+ years of experience in litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Litigating disputes involving governing documents, assessments, liens, and foreclosures
- Representing CIDs in mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings
- Handling construction litigation, insurance claims, and vendor disputes
- Defending or prosecuting enforcement actions for covenant and rule violations
- Advising on risk management and strategies to prevent litigation
- Communicating with boards and managers about ongoing cases and outcomes
- Negotiating settlements favorable to clients' interests
